Reunion Project 2.0
The reunion project is an annual conference held in 2018 in Palm Springs, where HIV survivors can come together and discuss their struggles. Not only does this event promote community interaction, but as well as provide new information from researchers, advocates and long term survivors of HIV and AIDS. The all day event is broken into workshops, presentation, panels and discussions. During the event a survey was given to participants and our research team was able to conduct a data analysis. The survey aimed to see what participants liked and what didn't like throughout the conference. We were able to present our findings to the steering committee in Palm Springs in hopes of improving the next Reunion Project. Reunion Project 3.0
The reunion project 3.0 was the conference held in 2019. After the committee listened to our original findings we noticed a significant improvement in the timing issues from last years conference. We conducted a survey for this years project as well. However, this survey primarily focused on the guest speakers presentations and what the audience thought of them. Overall the participants enjoyed the various topics, felt they were informative and easy to understand. For more detailed results, we have attached the file of our presentation below.

GPP Checklist
This is the Good Participatory Practice Checklist that was created for communities to safely engage in community-based research. This GPP checklist was created to prevent academic researchers from practicing "helicopter research," and selfishly benefiting from the community without providing benefit in return. This outlines what academic researchers should do prior to beginning their research, during the research, as well as post trial and what community members participating in the research to watch out for.
